I had goosebumps running down my arms, and my mind was going crazy. Yes, sometimes, even the Dark Princess totally chickens out and hides in horror games.Īs the sun began to set I heard it for the first time. My heart was already starting to beat faster, and I knew it was only going to get worse. Sticking close to my trailer, I set a few traps (along with some meat from the fridge, and leaves to disguise the traps) but mostly I stood in my trailer with the windows and doors shut. It looked like a typical forest, but I knew something big (no pun intended) was out there. It was cloudy and raining on my first day. Inside my trailer I find two shotguns, ammunition, first aid kits, traps, and night vision goggles. The game opens and I am near a parked trailer with a tent set up over a table of flare guns and tracking bullets (more on those in a bit). It remains even less explored in the video game industry, so when my husband pointed me to an early access game simply titled Bigfoot, I almost fell out of my seat in a mad reach for my laptop.īigfoot has a simple premise: You are a researcher, out on a mission to find four tourists that have gone missing. There was a surprisingly good movie ( Exists) that I reviewed a while back, but other than that, the landscape has been scarce. And yet, it remains a largely untapped source in the horror movie genre. When you add this fascination of mine to the fact that I LOVE horror, it’s a recipe for so much potential. It would be truly stunning to discover undeniable proof of its existence, and if we did, what else would that mean? Think of everything else that this knowledge could impact. Do I believe it/they exist? While I’m not saying that, I’ve watched enough X-Files to say this: I Want To Believe. The very idea that this giant creature could be lurking deep within thick forests of the most populated countries, living for decades without being proven, is mind boggling. Welcome to The Attic, let’s find Bigfoot.īigfoot has always been something of a fascination of mine. My review is based on what I had played at the time of writing, and there are no guarantees my opinion of the game will remain the same. Night Vision camera - Does what the name says, cant be placed down, use like a scope.Ĭamp fire - Useful on snow map only too keep you warm.Note: This review is for a game that is currently in early access on Steam. Can be broken if ran unto things too much. Always Keep Loaded!ĭrone - DON'T PRESS Q WHILE FLYING you will fall out of the sky. Tents- Useful in the snow map, Bigfoot can crush it if he walks on it.įlare guns, and flares - If you shoot these and hit him then he will run away.
You don't need to equip them to use them on friends because attempting to will use them on yourself. Med Kits - Best thing ever, split them up among your group. Normal bullets - Minor damage, never waist because you only have enough to kill him.
You can always keep them out and use your knife on anything else. Tracking bullets - Only work for a little while, can also be used on animals so don't shoot them at any animals besides the bigfoot. If you don't mask it he will not fall for it. Can only be used once after he steps on one. Traps- Take pretty good damage off the foot. Sometimes animals may stray into your territory and set them off. It is key to taking down the hairy beast.Ĭameras- Place them around your camping area for the best results! When you hear some beeping sounds that means there is something on the cameras. Your equipment is the hunters best friend.
